MONOCHROME

Sunday August 23rd Alex and I decided to the top of our apartments parking garage and do some flatland stuff on our fixed gears. After being up there for a bit I decided to go grab some of my equipment and snap some shot. These are some of the shots I snapped of Alex.

Thanks for looking. Let me know what you think. :)

Trip to Beaumont, TX

So as some of you might know I grew up in the Beaumont, TX area. I had a meeting with my lawyer Monday down there. While driving around I found and old graff piece I did like 4-5yrs ago.

Also while down in the same area in a train yard I saw a "meta" Piece that I think is pretty sweet.

Wikipedia Says:

Graffiti (singular: graffito; the plural is used as a mass noun) is the name for images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any manner on property. Graffiti is sometimes regarded as a form of art and other times regarded as unsightly damage or unwanted.

Graffiti is any type of public markings that may appear in the forms of simple written words to elaborate wall paintings. Graffiti has existed since ancient times, with examples dating back to Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire[1]. In modern times, spray paint and markers have become the most commonly used materials. In most countries, defacing property with graffiti without the property owner's consent is considered vandalism, which is punishable by law. Sometimes graffiti is employed to communicate social and political messages. To some, it is an art form worthy of display in galleries and exhibitions; to others it is merely vandalism. Graffiti has since evolved into a pop culture existence often related to underground hip hop music and break dancing creating a lifestyle that remains hidden from the general public.[2] Graffiti is used as a gang signal to mark territory or to serve as an indicator or "tag" for gang-related activity. The controversies that surround graffiti continue to create disagreement amongst city officials/ law enforcement and graffitists looking to display their work in public locations. There are many different types and styles of graffiti and it is a rapidly developing artform whose value is highly contested, being reviled by many authorities while also subject to protection, sometimes within the same jurisdiction.

Stephen's Bug

From Wikipedia-
The
Volkswagen Type 1 is an economy car produced by the German auto maker Volkswagen (VW) from 1938 until 2003. The car was originally known as Käfer, the German word for "beetle," from which the popular English nickname originates. It was not until August 1967 that the Volkswagen corporation itself began using the name Beetle in marketing materials in the US. It used an air cooled rear engined rear wheel drive RR layout.

The End is NIGH

The End Is Nigh takes place during the Crimebusters era (renamed The Watchmen for the film adaptation), when Rorschach and Nite Owl II were crime-fighting vigilantes before the Keene Act passed in 1977. Upon hearing a police bulletin, Nite Owl and Rorschach make their way to Sing Sing prison to help quell the rioting that has erupted there.

Snoot

So I built me a snoot out of a for sale sign and some black straws. It turned out great! I plan on making some more with different size straws. The longer the straws the a more snooty it is. Here is a picture I took of a Ratfink toy I have using the snoot.

If you have any questions on how to build this snoot just ask. Ill be more than happy to put together a tutorial for you.
